Empty Hearts
There are problems in life that are expected to come, others are unexpected. The strength of a person depends on his perspective on what is supposed to be the meaning of life. If we lost everything, where do we go? If the meaning of existence is lost, what is the reason to survive? The concept of hope comes in when we felt nothing to hold.
The reality is that we continue to live because we love our self. Hence, we hope for our self and not for anyone else. Are we prepared to endure the pain? Do we have enough courage to hold on our tears? We need to save our tears for we need more of it someday. We need more time to live. We need more, really. Until the time we loss our breath, we need to hope.
Empty Hearts
It is too painful to live,
and difficult to breath
when life is unfair.
It is hard to conquer our fears,
and burdensome to remain courageous
when irony is present.
Happiness and pain collides,
we tend to give up
and would make our hearts empty.

The poem is very sad. It reminds me of my best friend who had a problem with her husband lately. She decided to control the situation by having a meaningful vacation in one of the best travel spots in Cavite, Mount Sea Resorts in Cavite. Of all Cavite resorts, she chose the place since it is very accessible. Thanks for sharing your talent. I love the poem.
